Wyoming Cutthroats is a state-wide tournament travel team, competing in 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & 18U divisions. Cutthroats is part of Rocky Mountain Sparks Hockey, which is a similar Wyoming based girls hockey team participating in 10u, 12u, 14u, and 19u divisions, making Cutthroats and Sparks the ultimate option for Wyoming Hockey families looking for more hockey for the entire family. We are open to players from Wyoming, and limited surrounding Northern Plains District States who are looking for more hockey beyond the traditional WAHL hockey season.

As proud members of the Wyoming Hockey community, we know how tough and passionate Wyoming hockey kids are. We also know the challenges our smaller population, big geography, and limited rinks can cause when families are looking for opportunities to play more hockey, and higher level competitive hockey in Wyoming. Cutthroats exists to provide that supplemental opportunity in addition to your home association practice and league play. ​
​​Teams will compete at the level of play which will provide the most competition and growth for the players and team. Wyoming Cutthroat's teams have competed at AA, A, and B levels. Players are encouraged to tryout and will be selected based on coaching evaluations, and team needs. Tryouts occur in early summer, practices begin late summer, and tournament travel will be between October and April. The Cutthroats aim to keep travel within our local region and play a majority of tournaments in Denver, Salt Lake, and other close Rocky Mountain venues. Tournament dates will be holiday and pre or post WAHL season to avoid conflicting with home association play and commitments.
