WELCOME TO WYOMING CUTTHROAT HOCKEY

ABOUT

We’ve Got Team Spirit

The Cutthroats are a state-wide coed 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U travel team open to Wyoming players.  Teams will compete at the level of play which will provide the most competition and growth for the players and team.   Wyoming Cutthroat's teams have competed at AA, A, and B levels.  Players are encouraged to tryout and will be selected whether they are participating on a WAHL league team or not. The expected registration cost per player for the 2024-2025 season for Wyoming Cutthroats hockey is approximately $600.  The Cutthroats aim to play a majority of tournaments in Denver, Salt Lake, and more regional settings as well as avoid competing with WAHL weekends for tournament dates.

Our intention is to work with WAHL and Team Wyoming to create a fun, enjoyable, yet competitive hockey environment to enhance the youth hockey experience in Wyoming.

The selected travel teams plan to participate in at least five tournaments over the hockey season. Teams have practices on select weekends.

MEET THE CUTTHROATS

"IS HOCKEY HARD? I DON'T KNOW, YOU TELL ME. WE NEED TO HAVE THE STRENGTH AND POWER OF A FOOTBALL PLAYER, THE STAMINA OF A MARATHON RUNNER, AND THE CONCENTRATION OF A BRAIN SURGEON. BUT WE NEED TO PUT ALL THIS TOGETHER WHILE MOVING AT HIGH SPEEDS ON A COLD AND SLIPPERY SURFACE WHILE 5 OTHER GUYS USE CLUBS TO TRY AND KILL US. OH YEAH, DID I MENTION THAT THIS WHOLE TIME WE'RE STANDING ON BLADES 1/8 OF AN INCH THICK? IS ICE HOCKEY HARD? I DON'T KNOW, YOU TELL ME. NEXT QUESTION."
